Formosa Gunpowder (chinese green tea)

A perfect everyday green tea, rolled up like gunpowder with a strong character and fragrance. It produces a reasonably strong dark-green brew with a memorable fragrance, a slightly bitter flavour and a long lasting finish.

The tightly rolled leaf give this tea it’s ‘gunpowder’ appearance and make it the perfect green tea for on the go – the tightly rolled leaves means it stores well and only a small amount is needed to brew a cup. Leaves can be brewed in a tea pot or directly in the cup, and can be re-brewed up to three times.
